Happy Holidays!

It’s hard to believe that 2019 is nearly over.

The year has flown by and I am left wondering where all those days went. Sometimes I reflect on my childhood (when time passed slowly and tomorrow could never get here soon enough and I wonder at how much things have changed. Now, it seems as though today never lasts long enough and tomorrow rushes by like a speeding train. Time, and how we perceive it, remains one of the great unsolved mysteries.

In Restoration, people use cloning and other technologies to extend their lives well beyond a typical human lifespan. Their ability to defy death allows them to perceive time in ways you and I could never imagine. Imagine the choices you might make if you could live life without fear–live life knowing that a new body was available any time you wanted one.

What would you do with unlimited time? Would you take more risks? Would you push yourself to achieve goals you currently think are unattainable? Would you travel more, experience more, and love more? I know I would!

Time is our most valuable asset and, unlike in Restoration, we don’t yet have the ability to buy more. We only have what’s been given to us and every new day is a gift. Regardless of how you plan to celebrate this holiday season, my wish for you is that you will continue to receive the daily gift of more time. My other wish is that you will use it well. Life is too short to not make every day count!

Speaking of counting: There are just nine days left until Christmas. To celebrate, I am offering the ebook version of Restoration for just 99 cents on all platforms (Amazon, Apple, Google, etc) now through Christmas day. Please consider picking up a copy for yourself and the other avid sci-fi readers in your friends and family circle. I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Best wishes for a joyful holiday season,

Dan
